Ribosomes

    Ribosomes, the smallest organelles, create protein. There are more ribosomes in a cell then any other organelles. Ribosomes can float freely in a cell, or they can be attatched to the membranes or cytoskeleton, but ribosomes are not covered in membranes. All cells have ribosomes, because all cells need protein to live.
